Genting’s Late Night Shopping Event at First World Plaza

Time flies, it's Christmas once again. Get your Christmas gift list ready. And be in the mood for shopping.

Genting has a late night shopping event at First World Plaza!  All the shops in First World Plaza will be open from 10am to 1am, between 9 November to 31 December. Cool, isn't it?

At Genting's First World Plaza, there are more than 60 Retail and 70 F&B outlets. To add fun to your shopping, there are attractions for both young and old.

Travel Tuesday: To Rome with Love

From the movie To Rome with Love

Rome is such a beautiful city. It will not be called 'Eternal City' for nothing. The scorching summer heat welcomed us last summer. Overall, the trip was so worth it.

Watching the movie To Rome with Love made me miss Rome. Been to some locations in the movie.

Like everybody else, I threw a coin and wished to visit the city again. I would love to return to Rome. I love the food, walking at piazzas, see churches everywhere and try all flavors of gelato.

As ode to James Bond's 50 years in film, here are the photos taken during our trip in Phuket, Thailand in 2010. These were the locations for the 1974 film The Man with the Golden Gun.

Thursday Travel Trivia: The Alnwick Garden

The Garden is the Rose Garden, a mixture of pergola lined paths and walkways, covered in climbing and shrub roses mixed with glorious clematis and honeysuckle. This garden combines colour and fragrance to tempt the senses, with a collection of over 3000 roses.

Travel Tuesday: Venezia, Italia

The 'City of Canals' will always be romantic. Just watched lovers float passed gondolas.

Though I missed its beautiful site on a summer evening, I find this place very picturesque.

One fine day in August. It was scorching hot in Venice. A good excuse to buy gelato every few hours. ;)

And speaking of gondolas, you'll see them everywhere. Ask this gondolier and he will take you around. They will also sing for you for additional euros, of course.

Genting SnowWorld Fun and Fashion

I'm crossing my fingers to be part of this trip. I can feel winter for a day. Woohoo! Feeling happy like a kid, huh?! Of course, I'll be in winter wonderland, Genting Snow World. AWESOME!

Now, thinking of what to wear? I've read in Herworld that bright blue is 'IN'. And this is beautiful.

And here is my cold weather look when I was in north of England a month ago. It was a cold summer. Coming from the 30-degree weather, this coldness is not yet normal to me. haha! To be fair, this year they say, has been a cold, rainy summer.
